Sokos Hotel Helsinki
Hotel Helsinki is a famous large hotel of its time, which opened in 1930 in the business premises of the bank Helsingin Suomalainen Säästöpankki. Today, the hotel is known as Original Sokos Hotel Helsinki. AS&H is the main and architectural designer of the hotel's renewal project.
We are designing the transformation of a former warehouse building situated in Katajanokka into a commercial space, hotel, and apartments.
AS&H's wooden construction-based plan of a complex of star-shaped apartment buildings and terraced houses that are built on top of car parks won a design competition organised for developing the scenically important Sävelpuisto area.
Scandic Grand Central
The national railway company VR’s administrative building, originally designed by Eliel Saarinen and finished in 1909, was transformed into a hotel for the Scandic hotel chain.
We are designing a wooden office building in Keilaniemi, Espoo. The building will be situated in a prominent spot as an extension of the Keilaniemi office group, between the roads Ring I and Keilalahdentie, which will be realigned.
Tripla is a three-block lively city hub situated in Pasila, Helsinki. Tripla is a biggest shopping mall in Finland, but it is also a diverse service, shopping, commercial, culture, living, hotel, and traffic station providing area of the city.
